About Us
In Uttrakhand, Prayatna Sanstha is a nonprofit organisation established in 4th March, 2014 that promotes youth and children from disadvantaged backgrounds via education and empowerment. The organisation focuses on giving children and young adults from economically underprivileged areas of society quality education, vocational training, and life skills. In addition to advancing gender equality, Prayatna Sanstha seeks to enhance the health and sanitation of the communities it serves.
Our Story
- The Prayatna Ek Samajik Sanstha is governed by a network of bodies with its primary administrative office in Rishikesh. The Governing Board is made up of 7 committed social workers with extensive experience working at the community level in the field of urban and rural development.
- Our Sanstha focus on a wide range of issues and areas. These might include women’s rights, the health of the environment and planet, healthcare, political advocacy, labor unions, religious faith, care of aging adults, and youth empowerment.
- Being in the education field, the family had witnessed how education might change a child’s life. So they committed to build a school. They support empowering the underprivileged groups, which include women, children, youth, and people with disabilities. The Foundation has always aimed to strengthen the aforementioned communities.
- An additional driving force behind this movement was the Pandemic’s concern for sanitation. Making the environment sanitary and clean became the new focus as a result.
Our Vision
- Make the powerful environment for women in the growth of their every aspect of their upgrade carrier.
- Giving education to every child, special try to promote the education of girl child which is still facing the problem of discrimination .
- Spread the awareness program related to hygiene in society and separately for women’s also of it required with our lady team volunteers.
- Awareness for the importance of vote in society by. Organizing rally or some culture events.
- Time to time we organize talent hunt show in which special opportunity given to poor children in which they get good platform to perform their talents.
- Time to time we also organize blood donation camp with the collaboration of AIIMS for the welfare of society.
- Spread the love and respect of our country by organizing Tiranga Yatra with 100ft national flag with the collaboration of the school students on the city.
- Awareness program for wearing Helmet while driving 2 wheeler by time to time organizing activities or rally with the collaboration of police and our volunteers.
- Help the people of rural areas and needy in pandemic by distributing food and medication item in their difficult time.
- Distribution some types of equipment to differently abled/ Handicap people as per their requirement.
- Raised voice against the child labor and also we are protecting them.
- Help Street animals by providing them food and medication as per requirement.
- Time to time we organize workshops for making awareness of good touch and bad touch especially in rural areas and in schools also.
- Plantation activities in different places for the awareness of keeping our environment green and healthy from global warming.
- Awareness program by organizing rally for eating only vegan.
- Our organization also helps the poor and needy people in their health treatment/ Medication in some chronic conditions.
- Our NGO in Rishikesh also helps the old citizens as per their requirement.
- We also organize Rath Yatra every year for keeping the environment spirituality and by which people also stay connected with their consciousness.
- We also organize camp from the awareness of AIDS with the collaboration of Dr. Team and our volunteers.
- Our organization also raised voice against, drugs and alcohol should banned .Specially in some areas.
The main motive of our organization is to always support in every aspects of all people, environment and animals in society for the welfare and growth of our Nation
